Approved Flex Fastener and Plate is installed in the membrane seam and spaced XHD Fasteners and

Plates 6” on center or SXHD Fasteners and Plates 12” on center depending on the project design criteria.

Insulation Attachment:

Flex requires that approved insulation or cover boards be pre-secured to the deck prior to installing the

Flex TPO Plus roof membrane.

1. Polyisocyanurate Roof Insulation Board: Minimum of 1 ½” thick: Minimum of 5 fasteners and 3”

plates per 4’ x 8’ board.

2. DensDeck Roof Cover Board: Minimum of 5 fasteners and 3” plates per 4’x 8’ board.

3. Securock Roof Cover Board: Minimum of 5 fasteners and 3” plates per 4’x 8’ board.

3. Polyisocyanurate Roof Insulation Board less than 1 ½” thick or Extruded Polystyrene Roof

Insulation Board: Minimum of 6 fasteners and 3” plates per 4’x 8’ board.
